Suzanne Edwards, LVT Hospital Manager

Suzanne has been working in the veterinary field since she was in high school.  She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology in 2005 from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. She has worked in various aspect of veterinary medicine, including general practice, emergency, neurology and dermatology, before finding her true calling in dentistry.  She has worked in veterinary dentistry for over 7 years.  She lives in Matthews, NC with her husband, David and her cat, Cookie Monster.


Christian Francis, RVT, VTS Dentistry, Lead Technician

Christian, a North Carolina native from Lexington, NC, is a registered veterinary technician with a passion for veterinary dentistry. After working in small animal general practice for the majority of her career, she is proud to be a member of The Hospital for Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery team, focusing solely on the oral care of pets. Christian obtained her Veterinary Technician Specialty in Dentistry in 2018.   She enjoys traveling, reading and cheering on the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Christian and her husband Kevan share their Charlotte home with three little dogs, Max, a Pekingese, Gilbert, a Toy Poodle, and Gus, a Chihuahua.


Alissa Haworth, CVT, Technician

Alissa has been working as a veterinary technician since 2010. She is originally from Texas where she achieved her Associate’s Degree from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston and became a licensed veterinary technician. After getting her start in small animal general medicine, she found herself spending more and more time in the dentistry suite. She began working at a veterinary dental specialist in Austin, Texas before moving here to North Carolina. When not enjoying her time at work, she loves reading, cooking, and playing video games. She currently lives in Davidson where she loves spending time with her family and her Scottish Terrier, Bogart.

Marcia Noles, Executive Assistant

Since January 2016, Marcia’s new found joy, after working in the insurance industry for many years, is working with pet owners and their 4 legged babies. Marcia loves being a part of the hospital and can always be seen with a cheerful smile. She is the proud mother of 3 children, Travis, Nicole and Tyler and delighted grandmother of 2 beautiful granddaughters, Harlie and Emma. She also shares her home with 3 dogs, Luna, Dren, Sarge , and 1 cat, BooBoo!


Emily Worsham, Client Services

Emily started her career in veterinary medicine in 2013. She has truly found her calling in this field of medicine. When you come to HVDOS, Emily is always there to greet you with a big smile and make you feel right at home!  She is often found giving our patients pats and cuddles so that they have a great dentistry experience from the moment they walk in the door!

Emily enjoys all aspects of veterinary dentistry and animal care, but her favorites include: taking care of our pet parents, making sure that their special family members are receiving the best care, and assisting during procedures.  She is a North Carolina native and currently resides in the Lake Norman area. Emily has 2 pets of her own, Maya the Pit Bull Terrier and Kittles the black cat. In her free time Emily enjoys going on adventures with Maya, hanging out at the lake and exploring new cities.

Ann Reeves, Client Services

Ann Reeves has worked with Dr. Queck in a variety of roles beginning at The Carolinas Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic. Ann joined the Hospital for Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery upon opening in Sept. 2016. Ann is a graduate of Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management Information Systems. She had a previous career working in the banking credit industry on enterprise systems. Ann enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and finds a great deal of satisfaction & joy seeing the difference our care provides to our patients and their families. Ann has a rabbit and a cat at home and lives with a dog in the house as well. She has been a Charlotte area resident since 1994 and continues to find new interesting things to do in the greater Charlotte metro area. Genealogy, music, and theater are some of her side interests.
